Fernando Marar is a Brazilian designer and creative director, based in São Paulo, working globally. 🌐


He believes that there are no barriers between design practices and trust in design as a great tool for curious minds. A methodology to solve problems and rethink conventions.

   "Back in 2006, everything started from a zine and a couple of logos for the bands I had. From then on, many things happen. First, I moved to SΓ£o Paulo and got my first job in a design studio during my graduation. At the end of 2010, I founded my own design studio, Moio,  with some of my most special friends. These were amazing years of learning and friendship. 

    In 2014 I moved to Wieden+Kennedy working for Nike Olympics campaigns for Brazil and Argentina. Two years later, in 2016, I received the Golden Medal at the Cannes Young Lions design competition with the Health Registration Mark project commissioned by the United Nations. I moved to F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi in the same year to work for brands I love, like Pinacoteca, an outstanding museum in SΓ£o Paulo. These times were full of surprises, and I became a teacher at Miami Ad School. At the end of 2017, I moved to Africa DDB, as a Creative Director and Lead Designer for Budweiser among other brands like Corona and Fila. Were 3 and a half incredible years working with some of my passions like music, the NBA, and the whole world and lifestyle around that.  In 2021, I accepted the challenge to lead the Global Brand Design team at Nubank working with great minds. "
